| Okay, brace yourself, these pics are eerie. The Orbs are outstanding! If you use your imagination just a little bit, you can just imagine what these vehicles have experienced! These pics are amazing and I'm so proud to have them here. Our new friend, Joe S., has shared them with us and they fit right in our fright fest activities. But please, let's allow Joe S. to explain as best he can the meaning of these images. Please carry on!
Joe S. writes:
I carry a disposable camera around all the time. I travel around the state and see lots of weird stuff, and a lot of old buildings and cars that won't be around some day, so I take pictures. I happened upon these two abulances that had been in storage a long time. Some restoration had been started a long time ago apparently. The ambulances are late 40's Roadmasters with inline 8 cylinder engines. The white one still has the gurney in the back along with most of the related equipment. These things are totally extinct - the primary motivator for the picture. There is a society (car club) for these service cars. Not even any of their members know of any intact examples of this truck size car. In those days the ambulances were run by the Civil Defense Dept, that's why it's green. They are still owned by the city. That's a city garage so it's likely that they have been sitting around since at least the 60's. I am not sure which picture I sent. I took 3, 2 came out with orbs which to me seem like a camera problem or something. It was when I was showing the pictures to people (other than gear heads) that they gasped at them. Realizing that the other pictures did not have the anomoly is what made me want to send them out for opinions. Whats your opinion??
I am going back for more pictures because I am not really a believer, hopefully this month, so we'll see. I would think walking around inside a former asylum/boys prison (see below), complete with unmarked graves out back would be a situation more likely to evoke the supernatural! How do you like the pic? It's in Meriden, Ct. and will be torn down someday.

| Are you scared yet? I am! Hey, I love these pics! Speaking of asylums, I am in the process of doing a layout of the Jeff Davis Hospital here in good ol' Houston, Texas. Heard tell that it's sitting on an old Confederate cemetery with about 3,500 graves underneath it. Should be able to stir up the dead there! Woo hoo! Thanks so much, Joe, you are so cool! Love your story about the woods and the Blair Witch that you sent me! You're my kind of guy! Are you married?! Dang! |
